--ERIC BROMWELL FILES FOR THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES IN THE 8^TH DISTRICT--

--Bromwell to Continue Family Tradition of Public Service--

PERRY HALL, Md., June 26, 2002- Eric Bromwell, lifelong resident of Maryland’s 8^th Legislative District and son of former State Senator Thomas L. Bromwell Sr., announced today that he has recently filed as a candidate for the House of Delegates. Eric, who was born and raised in Perry Hall, hopes to represent the 8^th Legislative District that includes Carney, Overlea, Parkville, Perry Hall, Rosedale, and White Marsh.

“Public service is a Bromwell family tradition. I grew up believing that it is necessary to make a personal contribution to improving the community and people’s quality of life,” said Bromwell. “In order to represent my constituents effectively, I will establish and maintain an open line of communication with the people that I represent.”

As an 8^th District representative in Annapolis, Bromwell will concentrate on inherent issues including education, healthcare, victim’s rights, and specialized care for senior citizens.

Bromwell is currently a Government Relations Coordinator for Comcast and a member of the Baltimore County Young Democrats. He received a BA degree in English from Salisbury University and is a graduate of Calvert Hall College.
