--Bromwell to Continue Family Tradition of Public Service--

PERRY HALL, Md., June 26, 2002- Eric Bromwell, lifelong resident of Maryland’s 8th Legislative District and son of former State Senator Thomas L. Bromwell Sr., announced today that he has recently filed as a candidate for the House of Delegates.  Eric, who was born and raised in Perry Hall, hopes to represent the 8th Legislative District that includes Carney, Overlea, Parkville, Perry Hall, Rosedale, and White Marsh.

“Public service is a Bromwell family tradition.  I grew up believing that it is necessary to make a personal contribution to improving the community and people’s quality of life,” said Bromwell.  “In order to represent my constituents effectively, I will establish and maintain an open line of communication with the people that I represent.”

As an 8th District representative in Annapolis, Bromwell will concentrate on inherent issues including education, healthcare, victim’s rights, and specialized care for senior citizens.

Bromwell is currently a Government Relations Coordinator for Comcast and a member of the Baltimore County Young Democrats.  He received a BA degree in English from Salisbury University and is a graduate of Calvert Hall College.
